I'm tired of hearing that McCain is a maverick. What maverick things has he done lately?!

He refuses to use his senior citizen discount at McDonalds. If that isn't Maverick, I don't know what is!!!

My 7 year old's teacher (2nd grade) called me this afternoon to tell me my son was being disrespectful...
She asked him to answer a question, and rather than him just say "I don't know", he said....

"That is a gotcha-question"!!!!!!!!!!

I must remind him that he is NOT a republican.....

But then again, when I was 16 I rebeled and campaigned for Republican Kevin O'Connor for Congress...

He lost....but then later became a US Attorney (i think) appointed by Bush...

I'm learning so much from Republican party how to answer questions when I have no clue what the answer is, or I know I don't have a strong ground. Blame others and shift focus!!

ok i voted for bush (dodges tomatoes lol) when i turned 18 ...why? just because i didn't want kerry to get it.
Im not a republican or theDemocrat. why? because even though i support some views and others i don't..im not goin to say im one of those and having to stick with a guy i do not agree with because of it..so there im niether but i have my OWN views. Some say i act like a independent voter

Im getting sick and tired of people saying i don't want him as president and all this...then why are you not voting?! (in regards to certain people)
in my opinion (freespeach here lol) if you want to bash or get mad about the choices of presidents then go vote for it...but im sorry if you don't want to vote then not #&%$# to me about it.

My daughter, who is 4, has met this election cycle Obama, McCain, three Clintons, and the Bidens. (Grumble, don't get me started on missing Palin and McCain recently. Grrr. Still raw about that one.) She can spot them all on television and has no problem telling her teachers about them all.

William got in trouble last year for declaring G.W. "is a bad president" during class.

Also, last year, he got in trouble for the following:

The kids were reading a story about a little boy named Chad who caught a butterfly in a jar. Chad eventually let it go...
Williams teacher asked all the little 1st graders what kind of person Chad is... most kids said "nice", or "kind"....NOT MY WILLIAM...he said "Chad must be a Democrat..because a republican would never let him go"

My 3 year old is the same way. She ADORES Barack Obama....

I do explain to my children the difference in parties. I do it without contempt, or hate. They will eventually become voters, and all I can hope is they make informed descions.
