If he replaces Palin and gives a nice talk about how he let "wanting to win" and the suggestions of his campaign people overrule his judgment but is now starting off fresh, he may just get my vote. THAT would take real courage and would show enormous strength of character.

Of course the entire social right would abandon him. But I'd stand up there with him.

I was extremely disappointed in McCain in tonights debate. I guess he was trying to come off as well informed and shoot down Obama with accusations and half truths. But what I saw was a pompous, rude bully who would rather roll his eyes and interupt Obama than listen to the answers that were given and respond with an intelligent answer. It was more like nu-uh, your wrong. (sticks tongue out)

I realize that he is behind in the polls. I realize that he has been letting Palin be the Pit Bull and tear into Obama for him. But, he would have been better served to stick to the issues, explain his plan for the country and quit with the negative tactics. The polls are showing the negative ads and speeches are working against him. Why doesn't his campaign manager pull him aside and say, "um, hey John, why don't we come up with some plans here instead of this negative crap. It's not winning us any points."

Oh well, if the McCain camp wants to play that way, that's okay. He will still be a Senator on November 5th and Palin can go back to Alaska and work on some more earmarks for her great state.

I think the whole debate system is so contrived that it just gives them another opportunity to go over their talking points YET AGAIN.

I'd love to see some out of nowhere, not previously agonized over and approved by both sides moderator ask some real questions that real Americans want to know the answers to. Then I'd love to see each candidate required to actually answer the question.

I'm so tired of talking points!!

I heard an interesting observation from Rachel Maddow last night.

She said (this is not an exact quote) That it seems that McCain wants Obama to lose more than he (mccain) wants to win...

I can just picture him jumping up and down screaming "mine mine mine" lol

Tax cuts - Which John McCain apparently having a hard time comprehending. He kept saying Obama will increase tax. Yes, John. We know it applies to you and Cindy. Stop already. gee.... I know how much we make and it's not 250K. Thank you very much.
