Without a teleprompter, he's a terrible public speaker. And he can't seem to keep straight who he's talking to in these debates. He's called McCain "Jim" and "Tom" instead of "John".

I'm not a big fan of either candidate, but clearly Obama is out of his element debating live with no note cards.

I love the part where he's like "I have the bracelet from...." and then he couldn't remember the name of the soldier who'd died - he totally stumbled over it.

You couldnt be more correct, Obama is a moron - and yes we actually agree on something for once! Anyways, for those that didnt watch the Debate tonight - picture this - McCain finishes his story about a sentimental bracelet that he wore in honor of a fallen soldier ..... Obama interrupts (of course hes afraid McCain may get a little credit) says excitedly - "I have a bracelet, too!" And right as the camera focuses on his "bracelet" Obama st-st-st-st-umbles to provide us a name of who the bracelet he is wearing is for/in honor of! (I swear he looked right at the "bracelet" to read the name!) As the bumper sticker says: NOBAMA ..... if you wanna watch the video I just found it on Youtube under "Bracelet Debate McCain Obama"

As a military spouse, if some politician was using my husband or son's name as part of his campaign platform, and then couldn't even remember his name...I'd think it was cheap and I'd be pissed.

Bush can't even get it right scripted or not. So Obama is no big deal. I certainly don't think that any word coming out of any President's mouth is in any way unscripted.
