Ok I dident get to finish my last post.....anyway I only go to that site to post that i mailed and recived my envis and im not a membe of it I only did the trial run and hated it. I do however like there trains since there is the same 6 or 7 people that mail to each other every week. I keep looking at the trains here and they arent like that. Its just a couple week thing and I dont know if I could get used to that. One day I will stop being a trader and get on one of the trains here and quit that train. lol Ok dont be to hard on me now lol

You should print out some HCW business cards and put them in your train envies with a little note. Maybe you can get them to come here and do trains like that with you. It would be like an underground railroad to coupon freedom, lol.

Well, I don't hang out on "that" site, but I can relate. Before HCW, I got started on a train on a Christian website that I frequent, and I still do their trains b/c overall, they aren't "serious" couponers like most here are, so even though there aren't cool things like winetags, they often send coupons that they think are "junk" that happen to be "hot" coupons on here. You know the .50 ones that most non-serious couponers think of as useless, but end up doubling at your store and makes them free? So, I just think of it as different and don't expect the big coupons but enjoy the ones that I can double or trade on here b/c they can be doubled or tripled elsewhere. I join trains on here b/c I know I'll get the "good stuff", and there for the comraderie, I guess. So there's nothing wrong with being on trains on multiple sites as long as you can keep up with them all.

That said, I like the pp's idea of including a HCW business card...you might just get that kind of train going around here!

Haha I dident even think of the HCW Business Cards! I might just do that and try and get them over here! And ya none of those girls seem to catch the hot coupons and I get them sent to me. Like I have got 5 of the free cat food coupons now and a couple powerade coupons from them.

I'm actually a listmaker for that other site.

Here's a couple of interesting things that you may or may not know......

- The listmakers are NOT allowed to identify themselves on the boards over there or actually anywhere, including real life.

- Teri actually does nothing in the way of day to day hands on operations for the list. Listmakers and quality control peeps do it all. Little irksome to hear her in interview constantly talking about "Well *I* can show you how..... or *My* lists shows you...." Uhhh, she doesn nothing and never acknowledges that others do it.

- The lists for the stores are purchased in a franchise agreement, anywhere from $20,000 up and then they keep a portion of the membership.

- The listmakers give canned responses because that's what they're required to do. All responses are provided in the manual and heaven forbid one deviate from that.

- It kills me, just kills me, to see questions on the boards about holiday lists and wondering about if there will be one and then to see the admins say to email the listmaker. Ummm, the holidays are *dictated* by the mgr or Teri or whomever, but it's certainly not up to the listmaker. Last year they even tried to make us work Christmas week but that was rescinded.

- They make it sound like the list has 4 holidays for the listmaker.... but they don't. Although the quality control peeps (also admins on the site so believe you me, they're NOT as clueless as they seem) get a holiday (tonight for example) or even a trip to Teri's but the listmakers don't get squat.

There. I think that may have answered a few of the points I've seen brought up, if not, feel free to ask.

NHnines, can you clarify that a bit more....I don't really get all that. Who franchises, the people who make lists? How many list people are there?

When all is said around here, nothing happens without the people on this site. We have amazing moderators, and we do realize that life (and holidays) happen and no one is ever required to be here. Sounds a little nutty over there....
