Can I complain about another grocery site?

I do have to say they helped me because that was the sight that was referred by a friend.

I just happen to google something and poof, HCW came. Sold ever since. Didn't want to spend $ every month anyway.

I liked the rules here. There are other sites that are free. But, I just didn't feel safe there.

I know which mushy site your talking about and the mushy stepford message board. I did a 30 day trial with them and then cancelled. The lists never came out until Tuesday and some stores we have here weren't an option. I could get Bloom/Food Lion though and the closest one was 45 minutes away. My lists were often wrong.

All I can say is that HCW is a blessing to me and my family. I can find the information I'm seeking here faster, it's more accurate and it's free!

I know what PP mean. I started out there, and thought It couldn't get any better! Then I wondered how everyone on other boards knew what sales were coming out, which coupons were coming out, and sneak peeks and stuff.. I went looking for a Meijer sneak peek and I found HCW...quit that other mb and paid service that day.

What bothers me is, those lists never ever mentioned Catalinas, and if you found them on the mb, you had to decipher it which was longer and more difficult than trying to read hieroglyphs.

I'm just glad I found HCW or otherwise I'd be paying for less pertinent or accurate info!

IMO, it is -- you'll frequently see their members wandering through an included store the last two or three days of the ad period, clutching & guarding their list like it's the Holy Grail, muttering "trust the list, trust the list" as they search in vain for products that were wiped out many days earlier by REAL COUPON SHOPPERS! This is especially true for those stores where advanced sales info is available (like Walgreens) and coupons can be gathered & organized ahead of the ad period. WTG, HCW members!!!!!

That other MB placates their losers by adding to the "trust the list" mantra that rainchecks are their best friends - they don't discuss the part that makes the RC statement a crock when a high end Catalina, RR, ECB or expiring coupon is involved!!! Here, we can talk about the problem and suggest alternative options - for example - asking the manager to calculate in the value of the RR thus giving you a RC for a free widget, mascara or whatever.

I was never a member but one of my sisters joined that site for a brief time after seeing Teri on GMA. Sister THOUGHT she could at least match my savings and all the rah-rah-cis-koom-bah happy happy joy joy over there convinced her that she could readily surpass me in savings (time & money) but she didn't even make it into my ball park, much less win the game.
