Canadian Pharmacy?

Ok, so I realize that this could be a bit controversial. Please, please be easy on me. I am just curious and see things on the internet all of the time. So please be kind.



1. Has anyone ever gone thru a Canadian pharmacy to get their prescription filled?

2. If so, would you do it again? Why or why not?

Good question. I will be waiting for answers also. I saw an article in my local newspaper about people going to Canadian pharmacies.

Ok, I'll be the guinea pig. I just placed an online order with a Canadian Pharmacy. No prescription is required.
My reasons: It's for a drug I currently have a presc. for, but only have one refill left. My doctor has closed his office and opened one farther away from where I live. I am trying to avoid medical costs and am generally healthy. I have been on this med. for a number of years. If I can get the med. without seeing my dr. (80.00 per visit) just to get a stinkin' presc. AND it proves to be the SAME drug, I am hoping to save $$. The cost was the same as my local pharmacy (no co-pay).
Stay tuned. The whole process may take a week or two. Each new order is "reviewed" by "their" physician.

where did you find the info on the canadian pharmacy as I would also be interested in this and using one. I would like to know if the meds are cheaper. I am a student and any money that can be saved would be great

I frequently used a Canadian pharmacy before Zyrtec became OTC. It was OTC in Canada and I could get six months worth for the same as my copay here. I also got Claritin there until recently also even though it was OTC. I also got prescription drugs there cheaper than my copay here on several meds. I used canadapharmacy.com. I did have to send a written script to them but I had no problems whatsoever. In my case, I did not save an office visit to a doctor but did save on my prescription drugs.

Some drugs require an Rx some are OTC. Their prices are very good! They are $50 cheaper on my monthly Rx than Walgreens. I mom has used them for a while.

They require a profile (no big deal just list all of your meds). They have a 1-800 #.

If your order reaches a certain total then you have free shipping. I get a four month refill on my Rx at the Dr. and then send me 4 months at a time with free shipping.

Giant drug list including OTC's. Some items come from the UK and don't require Rx's either. I have been using them for 10 years without a problem. No problem with the meds either.
