Well with most people's insurance the actual store price of the generic vs brand won't matter. However, most people's copays minus the card will still be cheaper than their generic copay. For instance, I have coinsurance on my brands and copays on my generics. So I pay $30.37 - $30 discount for 58 pills. My price for 60 generic pills would be $14. Just look into all your options and don't be afraid to call your insurance company and ask for prices. I tend to use my insurance's website so I can try lots of different ways. Most people only have to worry about cost per month but because I have coinsurance, I can get any amount of pills I want and pay 20% of their actual cost (not the store price) so 58 pills can be MUCH cheaper than 60 because of price tiering. Okay that's enough of my little rant. Thanks for letting me know that it went generic though, I'll have to switch to that after my discount card expires....
