Target $10

I shopped at Target today and it printed a coupon for $10 gift card with a new or transferred prescription. Anybody know how their prices are compared to Walmart?

I don't know how there prices are, but you can also use that at CVS. They accept competitors prescription coupons. They also accept them at Harris Teeter...and other places I suspect.

Thye all have online prices if you go to the pharmacy sections of each store. Target does the $4 scripts as does Wallyworld, on certain meds. I do not have insurance and use the PS card for discount pricing. Target no longer accepts that, so I get one of my scripts at Walgreens since it's way cheaper there. I still get my thyroid stuff at Target since they have the $4/$10 and Walgreens does not. I don't shop Walmart, so don't even bother pricing them. In my area, Target is usually a hair cheaper than others....depending on the medication.

I, fortunately, have Medicare Part D; however, one of my scripts that I really need is no longer on their formulary. My doctor told me that Target was probably going to be the cheapest for me. Walgreens wanted $69.19 for a month and she says Target has it for about $20. She said that WM also had a competitive price, but, "WM is so hard to deal with." No truer words were ever spoken. I'm just on the lookout for GC coupons for Target, CVS, Bi-Lo, anywhere where I can get my scripts and get some money back.

i have not seen any coupons for a GC for prescriptions. I remember when Kmart and Target would have them in their circulars and now I never see any.

Anyone know anything about this?

I haven't seen any recently either, nor have I heard any rumors that they are stopping them. Anyone else?

IME, I have found Target's prices BETTER than Walmarts. One of our cats is on several medications and I called around for pricing. Target's was better.

You might want to call the pharmacy and ask. Have your prescription bottle handy to give the dosage. I found them to be quite helpful.
