Next week will be a deal at Walgreens with RR and could be a money maker if you can locate any coupons. I have not verified this yet but there may be a $2/1 Smartsource IP available this week.
Are you sure this pertains to me. My daughter takes the 30mg pill dosage. The CVS plan also shows that they cover generic claritin 10mg. That has been over the counter for years. I doubt they would put that in their pamphlet and then not have it available at the pharmacy.

Now that I have run out of my rationed final RX for this generic (Allegra-D 12hr (60-120) I find myself in same situation. Was thrilled when this med went generic last year as it brought my $70 copay down to $10. NOW that it is OTC I am looking at $2 per pill on sale, and daily limits since this is one of the meds with ingredients to make meth. Having walked around for more than two weeks with a terrible sinus headache, I have been reading up to figure out how I am going to buy this AND not have to buy it every 10 days as it would seem the OTC max count is 20. (difficult when am used to getting 90 day supply of 180 pills). Sorry, can not give insight to the law etc as can't think with this headache!
There are several coupons listed in the database ranging from $1/1 to $5/1, including a $4/1 IP here that you can print twice. Apparently the $5/1 is from a booklet in the Drs office if I read it correctly.
Am going to head over to the Walgreens forum to check out the deal you spoke of rbunny, thanks for the heads up! I believe there is a $1/1 in the walgreens july booklet.(not sure if it is for the right dosage) Insurance companies are making out like bandits when Rxs go otc. Relieves them of the costs! Just another way of bleeding us dry!

in looking at IHW scan of next week's ad (7/24)I found the following that might be of use to some of us:
30 ct Allegra $18.99....if this matches up with their July coupon book, it would work as follows: $18.99- $1 (walgreens Q) - $4 IP = $13.99 for 30 ct
The ad also shows several Walgreens brand allergy medication as BOGO. Prices only listed for two of them.
July 31st ad has a MIR for Allegra 24 5ct $6.99 - $6.99 mail in rebate.
