Kroger $25 for Transfer

Are there any restrictions? The last time I tried this over a year ago they told me it wasn't valid on the $4 prescriptions.

Not sure... I wouldn't know why not though? I'd call the pharmacist for more details (see below). The only restrictions that I saw were under the advertisement for the $25 on a transfer were these (copied straight from ad):

Government funded prescriptions not included. Prescription must be transferred and purchased. Offer expires 8/10/2011. Not valid on prescriptions transferred from another Kroger owned pharmacy or with any other offer. Prescriptions reimbursable under state or federal government programs not eligible. Not valid where prohibited by law. Subject to applicable taxes. Additional restrictions and limits apply. See pharmacy for details. Offer not redeemable for purchases of alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, offi ce services, prescriptions, or any other items prohibited by law.ems

Does anyone know if this can be used on a new fill? Thanks

Hmmmm... good question. I know that I took a new script in and got the credit for it, but I'd call the pharmacist and ask to make sure.

my store will not give credit for a new script only a transfer but of course it does not hurt to ask. I don't know about $4 Rx but my boys take fluoride supplements (we have well water) and a month supply of those costs less than $4 and I had no trouble getting the $25 credit for transferring them last week.

Here just south of Dallas I have called several Krogers for their policy on how many Rxs we can transfer for the $25 in free groceries. Each location told me the same thing...one transfer per person/household per week.

When I spoke to the pharmacist at my local Krogers, he said it was valid up to $300; there may be a regional/store limit? The ad does state at the top though,

"Additional restrictions and limits apply. See pharmacy for details. "

The lower amount may be one of the restrictions in your area?

This is still in their new ad out yesterday, good until 11-6-11.

WOW, that's great!!! I have made use of that a few times and it is good to know it is still going on.
