My son recently started on Vyvanse. My doctor gave me a card that made the copay $15. If you know what medicine he/she will be using, try the website for the medication. If there is a coupon to be had they will have info there.
My son is on ADHD meds but we will be changing the script here soon since he has outgrown the meds he was on. So Im looking to see if there is anything out there to help cover some of the cost, since we go through a couple of meds before we actually find the right one.

Also you might ask your son's doctor about giving you samples of the meds he wants to try your son on.
Good luck, Louise

Most ADHD meds are highly controlled and not sampled.
there are now generic versions of certain ADHD meds like Adderal. For those people with insurance, co-pay is a lot lower with generic substitute. Ask your pharmacist if there is a generic sub for your RX.
