Does anyone have CVS prescription coupons? I really need one; I'm about to pick up my prescriptions today.

Well, I just saw this in the upcoming weeks Rite Aid Ad:

(big banner on page 3)

"We Match Any Competitor's Prescription Price or Offer"

so you should be able to get an equivalent or better price.

I know the medicine would have come out to $1-something, after the $20 gift card. But, I was taking a risk that they'd allow me to use the coupon. It was an acceptable risk, if the price was about the same. But, I just couldn't do it. I would have asked them to price match, if I could have found the CVS bag from the last time I had it filled. But, it's MIA.

I'd go to drugstore.com, find out the price, and take that in to Rite Aid, or email them the info and page.

I just got this today (Calif.). I'm new to CVS'ing and want to make sure I understand. If I take this to CVS along with my RX that I usually get filled at Walmart, they will give me a $35 gift card to CVS?

That depends on your CVS. I don't think mine takes competitors coupons, but I know from the CVS forum that many do.

Thanks for the coupon info, and the CVS answer, kori!

Many pharmacies will accept competitor coupons, but not all. Also, some will check that it is actually from a local store/for a local store (i.e., actually a "competitor").

I suggest you just call or drop by the pharmacy and ask if they accept competitors coupons to receive a store gift card with a prescription transfer. It's a common coupon and question, so they likely will know the answer :)
