Re: "Transfers"? - Does this count?

Target is way further away from my house (but it's on the way home from my doctor but when I got there, the pharmacist had just gone on her 1 hour lunch break...), so I'd like to "transfer" these basically new prescriptions to a different pharmacy and use a coupon so I don't have to drive so far because I'm tired and sick (why I need the meds). Will this count as a "transfer" to use the RA coupons that are available?
I have a cough syrup that has this first one and then 2 more refills and then a 20 count (10 day) of antibiotics.
Has anyone done this? Will I be able to use a coupon? I really appreciate quick responses! | you say "basically" new.
a new prescription (that has not been filled yet) would not be a transfer.
Target has $4.00 meds and RiteAid and CVS and Walgreen have the highest prices in town.
Also, almost every other week, RiteAid has two coupons for $25 gift cards with a TRANSFERRED Rx, not NEW.
Some places require that the transfer has at least one refill left on it after you transfer it.
Some places require a new prescription to have a refill in order to use a gift card coupon.
Your best bet is ask the doctor to write your prescriptions and not call them in, so you can use them where you like. |
