I'm curious as to the demographics of couponers. This poll is anonymous, so none of your answers will be public unless you choose to comment below.

DH and I were just talking last night about future stuff. I am the one who works and he is in school. Even when he finishes school, I will still make more money. Right now he is at home with the boys during the day. When he finishes school (1 1/2 years) he would like to work during the day. I would still have two kids at home though and the thought of day care or something is really hard for me since we have never done that in six years - the kids have always been with one of us. It would be difficult to live in our house on his income, but I think it would be more difficult for me to put the little ones in daycare. Who knows, a long way off but I already worry about it!

Hubby makes about $33K. We are on one income. It makes for an interesting time, lol. People dont believe me when I say we couldnt afford to eat if I didnt coupon! We live in an area that for some reason unbeknownst to me..property value has gone up like crazy. We pay way too much in rent :( But it was the cheapest thing we could find. Oh well, such is life. It will be cool to see how many people are on each side of the spectrum :)

We are a one income family as well. DH makes about $22K. There are 5 of us to feed daily. Coupons are a way of life for us just like growing our own fruits and veggies.

I know what you mean about the property values going up. I live close to Blue Ridge, GA, just north of you. Land is selling like crazy in these mountains. People are paying $25,000.00 to $100,000.00+ an acre. Rent has tripled in the past 5 years. It is nuts but good for us if our place sells.:) We could never afford to buy another place in this area. We are moving to Alabama when ours sells where the land is still cheap.:Dollar:

Between DH working FT and my working PT as a waitress, be make around $62,000. Living around here is dirt cheap! We have a nice 4 bedroom,LR,DR,Kitchen,Full Basement,4season Porch,3 car garage and land - $450/month. We don't really have any bills/payments other than our regular monthly satelite, internet, phone, garbage, insurance. We have 2 major credit cards but don't use them much - pay them off right away if we do. Cars are paid off, etc.

Used to be around $100K household income but dropped by a third now after we decieded it is time for DW to stay home and plan for kid since we are not "YOUNG" so can't wait any longer.

We have loved every day since. No more gas expenses for DW 80 miles commuting every day, especially with gas likely hitting $4.00 soon. :( Also we seem to getting along with each other better with more time spent together. -:)

DW also can do more rebates, couponing, WT hunting since she has tons of free time now. -:) I can have much more time hunting for hot deals/selling stuff since I can slack off on house chores now. -:)

Our house fully paid, no car payment, no debt whatsever except $22K 0% APR credit card debt I did for free interest until next year.
