Which is better: Ebates or Mypoints?

(Mod Mamas, please feel free to move this, I couldn't figure out where to post this).

I've been a loyal mypointer for 4 years. I like that I can do survey and click through emails and print and redeem coupons to earn points as well as buy stuff online.

But....

I've been thinking about joining ebates. I don't buy a lot online, so I;m not sure if ebates is a good choice.

Ladies and gents- what are your opinions?

It depends.

what I often do is check the top 3 cashback sites and click thru from the one that offers the highest CB. There's a new one shop@home that also offers CB so there's now plenty to choose from. For those who have Discover CC, if you shop via shopdiscover, there are some that offers as much as 15 to 20 percent CB if you pay with your Discover card.

right now, for those with Chase freedom, they offer 5% CB for department stores purchases up to $1500 and add'l 5% if you shop @ Kohl's. the CB plus KC plus the %off and MIR all stack up for huge savings shopping online @ Kohls.

therefore, I choose the one that offers the highest incentive for click thru. Sometimes, even if ebates offer .05% higher, I prefer big crumbs or the others because it transfers the CB to my pp account regardless of the amount earned whereas with ebates, there is a certain amount to reach before the pay-out.

Right now Mypoints is doing some great holiday promos, so I've done my online shopping there with my amex (there are some great promos with Am Ex right now!).
