We have High deductible Health Insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield of CA) through hubby's work which is significantly cheaper then any other. We pay less the $200 a month for a family of 5. His company also puts $2000 a year in a HSA for us. Our deductible is $3600 before 90%/10% insurance kicks in. In 10 years of having it- this year is the first time I've ever had a penny come out of my pocket. We have $0 copay until HSA runs out.

We have home owners at about $600 per year, full coverage on 2 cars and only liability on the 3rd which runs about $170 a month (have a teenager). We do not have flood insurance but might get some at about $300 a year. Never heard of wind storm insurance.

Hubby has Life, AD&D, Family Life, Dental & Vision very cheap through work.

I wouldn't drop homeowners, auto or Life. I would get a high deductible plan on each of them and save the premium differences in an emergency fund. Basically self insure.
