This is terrible! Did you find out anything? I'm curious as a WI resident how this pans out.

My DH's job pulls this all the time. Well actually they pay him some just not all of what they owe him. Then they promise to make it up next week. Then they put it off until they just don't know what he's talking about. He is desperately seeking another job. OH no, I just had a terrible thought...the company he works for is actually a Japanese company. I hope the earthquake & tsunami won't pitch us another curve ball.

Sorry this happened to you! Hoping that they rectify the situation ASAP

Jeez, I'd be livid!! Don't go back and work. I fail to see how if working didn't get you paid on this payday...how continuing to work will = getting money next payday...

Definitely time to be doing some job hunting! That really stinks!

I don't know what I would do in that situation because I practically live paycheck to paycheck and wouldn't have gas money to even get to work or a way to pay my bills on time. (of course there is always food in the house thanks to my stockpile).

Talking about tsunami and other natural disasters, my paycheck was late during Katrina by about 5 days as they transfered the payroll office out of New Orleans to another place temporarily. (Most everyone got paid on time - mine just happened to be one of the late ones.) Just that about did me in at the time, because I did really need groceries then .... I know now that it is always good to have a backup plan if something like that happens.
