We do everything paperless that we possibly can. We have 2 bills that aren't paperless because there isn't an option. We have been paperless on all these bills for almost 2 years now and I love it.
I pay every bill onine that is possible with a cc(to get points - then we pay it off end of month) or with a direct checking account transfer.
Everytime I pay, these websites (mortgage, bank, cell phone, dsl) keep asking me if I want to go paperless.
I would really like to, but I'm too nervous. What if our power goes out, I don't get the email, computer glitch, etc, etc.
So, just curious, do you still get your bills the old fashioned way, thru the US Mail, or email?

I'm paperless on all my bills- car payment, car insurance, cell phone... It's great. Yes, the power can go out, but mail can get lost. Plus, if you have a general idea of when your bills are due (or keep track in a calendar), or even write down the addresses of where to mail bills "just in case," then you'll have all your bases covered.
my credit card is paperless. i pay it online. i like that they send me an email telling me it is ready 2 weeks before it is due. i then schedule my payment (i pay it off each month it isnt much) for the due date. i then schedule it and forget til my next email.
i havent sat down to figure out the other ones. electric, water, cable and cell phone. my house is automatic and i pay the insurance ever 6mths.

I pretend tomushrooms. It makes it so much easier to kill them.
I get most of my bills in the mail, but pay all but one online because it's not offered. I like having the paper bill lying around to nag me to pay it, then I file it away in a draw witht he date paid written on it.
I don't do paperless..... With writing a check I know it gets paid and I also have proof that I paid it. But on the other hand we have very little bills so it isn't any big thing. No mortgage, one cc, only household bills.
Most of my debt can't go paperless, but we've signed up for autopay on:
Car payment
Gas and Electric
Insurance (but they only send us a statement when the amount that is being withdrawn changes, so we get it 2-4 times/year)
We don't have any credit card debt (WOO HOO!!), and the other bills either don't offer paperless or I am trying to figure how (Ahem.. AT&T!!)

all of our bills are paperless now and I' happy with it. we move a lot (military) and so its easier and I dont have to worry if I dont get the change of address done in time.
#1 due Sept. 5th
It has made clutter a lot manageable since I went paperless for almost ALL my bills. I chose direct debit from a CA to make sure I don't miss a payment. My utility payments are tied up to an account just for bills. I just put a buffer amount to cover for some unexpected increase in some bills. Going paperless and autopay has saved me a lot on stamps and I don't have to worry about my bills going to the wrong address.
I still make sure to monitor my accounts so I know what I'm getting charged each month.
I am 100% paperless. I hate the paper lying around. I use Quicken to keep track of our finances, and in there, you can create a list of every bill and when it's due. So every Monday and Thursday, I update by downloading transactions from my banks. On Thursdays (pay day for us), I pay bills. If I did not use Quicken or some other program, I would most definitely forget about something. If I get a random bill that we get only once a year (excise tax, water, renewal for DH's work credentials, etc), I enter it as a bill that's due so I don't forget.
The likelihood of the internet going out everywhere is very low, so I know I can go to work or someone else's house to pay my bills if needed. I also save on stamps and time writing out checks and envelopes.
