and I have been there since Halloween 2006 and loved it. :)
I was just reading some very mixed opinions about working for ChaCha. A bunch of people said the majority of questions are from teenagers wanting to know the definitions of swear words or asking about "dirty" stuff. Do you have to answer those, or is there some way to flag them or something?

same here..I did tho, out of curiosity, fill out an ap yesterday. They did not ask me for my SSN. I dont usually see those on apps. I give mine after hiring on the W2's.

That not entirely true. There are teens who ask questions the same as adults. They ask all kinds of things from the weather to how to give a hand job, you HAVE to answer the questions no matter what. There are Questions that go against the guidelines- like how to kill someone or using the N word. However, if those bother you, you may want to try to be a Generalist/Specialist because you wont get as many of those questions. Those usually are handled by the Expeditors who send a Quick Answer.

I'm ecstatic with my online income. When I started my goal was to make $1000/month. I'm up to about $2800. I run a website selling pregnancy tests, run a coupon clipping website on eBay, do Swagbucks and MySurvey.

But by far my biggest earner is my articles on eHow. The great thing about them is they're revenue sharing. That is, I don't get paid to write the article. I get paid based on how often my articles are viewed and the number of ad clicks. So I do the work of writing the article once but get paid every month from here on out based on its poppularity. I don't know if they are still accepting writers or not. But it it definitely worth investigating!

Between how much I save using coupons and how much I earn through these various things, I'm worth $45,000/year not counting all the family stuff I do. Makes me feel like I'm significantly contributing to the family budget.

I really appreciate all of the info! I'm recently unemployed for the first time in my life becuz of an unfortunate move I had to make. I'm also a single mom and I'm very impatient for work after putting in nearly 40 resumes in the last month. If anyone finds something working well for them now that 2011 has gotten underway, please keep sharing! I can use all the help I can get right now, and online work seems to be the way to go while I'm still searching locally! Thanks a million for the ideas, I hope I can make them work as well as everyone here has!

I'm just checking ChaCha.com out for the first time on your recommendation. Since you and your DH both have different roles, can you give me any insight as to which is more profittable since the pay is different for each role? Thanks for any info you can offer!
