HELP Which new bank should I choose? Wakulla or Superior?

We are relocating in a couple of months and since I want to get away from Bank of America really really badly...

The closest banks that will be near our new location are Wakulla Bank and Superior Bank. Anyone have comments or issues with these 2 banks?

I really consider my HCW friends' advice valuable, and for such an important decision, I'd like to hear what you have to say.

    Any experience with these banks?

Please don't be shy! It's really important.

    Thanks in advance.

i've never heard of either bank, so i'm no help.

but, you have my sympathy. i transfered an account from a bank to a bank, so i spent several hours closeted with "your personal banker" types, and let me tell you it's draining.

and i have 2 stuffed full folders to peruse at my leisure.

    as if.

and i'm out of cream, so i can't even enjoy coffee while i wade through them.

    sigh. good luck!

I know. I'm afraid as soon as I go with one of them, then afterwards I'll discover something really bad about their services. And it's such a hassle to change banks, I'll prob end up sticking with them. It's so scary. You try to get the lesser of the two evils. And their paperwork can say one thing, but then they 'reserve the right' to change their services at a moments notice.

well, you can always flip a coin, or just go with superior, because it really truly DOES have the better name.

Check 'em out on the BBB's website! United States and Canada BBB Consumer and Business Reviews, Reports, Ratings, Complaints and Accredited Business Listings. There are a ton of listings for Superior Bank in AL, so I wasn't sure which one you were looking at. Those are BBB accredited.

There are 2 listings for Wakulla Bank, neither BBB accredited, and the one in FL has a rating of C-.
