 $6,500 tax credit for repeat home buyers!
 I just learned about a $6,500 credit offered to repeat home buyers. I attached a scan of the article in case anyone else is in my situation (it talks about this credit towards the end).
It states that you must own your current home for more than 5 years. Well my situation is a bit unique, I owned a home in New Orleans for over 8 years, but decided to sell it to "get out" after Hurricane Katrina. I fully intended to buy another home, but rented for about a year and a half trying to figure out where I wanted to live. I finally bought a house in NC last month. I have no idea if I qualify for this credit. Anyone have the skinny on it or can direct me to info on it???
