Question - about job loss

Yes the union is involved in the whole closing issue. They just haven't released any information about what to expect. Everyone is getting antsy about it as it has been about 6 weeks since the closure announcement and still no information. They just keep saying that they want the employees to stay until the end. Which puts a kink in finding another job until then.

I do wish you the best of luck! Hopefully the Union will be able to get employees what they deserve. The last company I worked for paid vacation but no sick time.

IMHO, the company needs to be realistic. The employees first priority is to find another job. The lack of communication for six weeks is a warning sign.
