I have been using that site for a few months now, I Love it! Someone on this site suggested it to me. I am a visual person, the graphs and charts are awesome!

Has anyone else had a problem with them charging you $5.95 a month when you link an account to it? I had some charges on my account that say Personal Finance Software and when I called my bank (Wachovia) about it, they asked if I had my account linked to quicken or anything like that. When I said I used mint.com the guy in customer service said yes, that's who is charging me. I thought this was free, why is this happening?

I have not been charged anything and I've used it for 6 months. It's linked to several accounts.

I have now been a Mint.com user for over a year and never have been charged any fees. And I check my accounts almost daily.

I would check your statement and see if there is a phone number associated with the charge (it is usually right on the same line as the charge) and call it to find out what it is.

But honestly mint is free to use as far as I know and cannot find anything on their website about any sort of fees. If you still think it is mint I would get ahold of them over there and find out what is going on.

Update to $5.95 fee...

So my bank didn't tell me the whole truth when I called to inquire about this. I went on a wild goose chase only to find out that while it is true that I am being charged this fee for using mint.com, WACHOVIA is charging me $6 a month to download my accounts to the website. They told me that this was implemented this spring and that there was a letter sent out with the information. I told them that their letters might as well be in greek because I don't understand all the financial mumbo-jumbo they use. They also told me that they are the cheapest of all the banks for this service.

My solution: I am switching my accounts to USAA.

Well that's a lie. There are banks that don't charge $6 for you to look at your accounts online.

Has anyone has Wellsfargo and link to mint.com? what is your experience? I didn't know if there is any fee as previous post WACHOVIA? and credit cards? do you also link them too? I haven't tried to do it yet.

TIA
