Homeland AD: 7/18 to 7/24

This is the OK ad. Last week, although I did not do the ad, there were a lot of difference in the OK ad and the KS ad. So, I do not get the KS ad early. I do not see it until either Wednesday or Thursday (depending on my mail). I will check for any changes. So, please do not be mad if you are in KS and order coupons based on the OK ad! LOL! I am ordering coupons based on this ad also. By the way, the manager at a Wichita HL told me that they are starting to make their own ads (not based on OK) and I guess that is what we are seeing. Kind of a bummer for me b/c I do not see the KS ad early. Anyway, if you have any questions feel free to post or pm me!

In years past, I had problems using 2 coupons on B1G1 free. Say an item was $4.99 B1G1 Free and I wanted to use 2 $1 coupons. It would double $1 but not always work on the 2nd coupon. Homeland's b1g1 always rings up as 50% off. So you can use a coupon on each item. It is different than a store that the first item rings up full price and the second as 0. It actually works to our benefit!! Glad to see you here!!

I am not sure. The ad says that you can save up to 1.10 b/c of the sale so I am assuming it is just the basic kind if the normal price would only be 2.20. But if you have the 1/1 you could get serious overage if the ad is right and it rings up 1.10.
I am not really sure what you mean about different scents. Are you talking about the new platinum secret?

I have found that not all B1G1 free deals at Homeland ring up at 50% /1`. A few months back. I got into one at Homeland that actually rang up Full price for the first item and $0.00 for the second item. I of course protested, since it had never been this way before. :frown:I was then told that each store can choose how they want it to ring up in the registers. I told them that was fine to take those items off my bill, because every other Homeland was 50%/1 .

They hate to see me coming to Homeland, I usually ring up 4 seperate orders because I live 35 miles from a Homeland, and with gas at $3.29 a can't afford to run back and forth to town. With being said.

Can anyone please let me know the price on these sale items this week. As I may have to order coupons before I go shopping to get the deals I want. Homeland used to put in the ad the amount you save which of course told me the price I would have to pay, like they did this week on the Secret/Old Spice Deodorant. But they aren't doing that much anymore.

I am going to start teaching a class week after next at our local Cowboy Church . Teaching the people how to use coupons at Homeland. The people that I will helping out don't have much and I am looking forward to this opportunity to help them out

Sorry about my statement about hl's b1g1. Here in KS, they all ring up 50%. I did not know that some stores in OK do not do that so I appreciate your telling us that.

I haven't been this week to check the prices but I do know that when the keebler is b1g1, it ends up being 1.48 ( my son loves these). Also, I know from the past that the farmland sausage is like 1.02 or something. The land o frost and price's spread were not in our ad so not sure if we carry them and I probably won't remember to check! LOL! I am hoping to pick up some cottage cheese and chex mix so I can post those. But I am not going until Friday night and then I am going out of town for the weekend so not sure if I will get back online.

Good luck teaching your class. I try to help people and give advice (namely friends) but have yet to transform anyone. They say they think it is too time consuming.

Homeland has the Old Spice and Secret Deodorant/AP on sale for B1G1. At homeland the B1G1 ring up half price. And it says save up to 1.10. So, on the first one, it will give you 2 dollars off, because the cash register will not go off of the sales price it will go off the origianal price. So, you will be 90 cents ahead. Then you can use as many of the 1 dollar coupons you want. They won't double, but it will only make the DO 10 cents. Can't beat that. Well, you could if it was free. But, I guess if you use the 90 cents extra, you can get 10 DO for free. I went and got 10 Old Spice DOs and 10 Secret DOs and 5 old spice body washes (when you buy 2 old spice DOs get a body wash free). I also bought us a pop. So, I got all of this for 4.57, 3.48 was tax. So, I spent 17. 5 cents on 26 things each. Not bad. I had no trouble doing it. The register took all the coupons. But, the manager did have to come and over ride the register because of the amount of coupons, but she didn't have a problem with it.
