Yep! And it pays to get several quotes as well. He charged $700 (labor and materials); the other bids were from $1200 up to $2400.

I didn't realize until I looked at the pics that it now looks like new construction-lol! It doesn't look that way in real life; probably because it blends with the other homes. Also, removed those bushes & stuff really makes it look bare. I can't wait to get the flowers & shrubs in. I think that will really pull it all together.

Hmmmmm, looks like you need a few rosebushes up front, I hope you picked some up this weeked, I know I did!!! :wink:

Oh, I see...the bushes at each corner are gone...and new fence too.

OK...so it is a good size planting bed between the front door and the garage. Are you go to make a bed as large on the other side...maybe wrap around and incorporate the big tree? To keep it from looking too symmetrical (unless you like that) you can do some more casual plantings, not too structured...a little loose...variety of materials...KWIM?
