Wow! Nicely done Larissa! The cabinets are the color I'm looking for in my kitchen too! What kind of material are your countertops??

Plain old Wilsonart laminate counters from Home Depot. I didn't want to invest a ton in granite or Corian, since this is not going to be our last house. I like the way they look so much that I may redo the next kitchen the same way! LOL

Cabinets are the 42" Mills Pride in Fairfield, also from HD.

We did the entire kitchen from the floor up (inc. new fridge, gas stove and micro/hood combo) for just under $6K.

Sweeeeeet! I'm hoping not to spend THAT much but since I already have the appliances, I'm sure it won't come close! Loving the cabinets! Gonna have to check 'em out at HD! Thanks again :)

We redid our kitchen about 4 years ago.
its about 9x9 (maybe a bit smaller).

New limolium floor, basement stairs and landing - 850 installed.
Painted the counter tops and put up a breakfast bar -that got painted to match other counter (my mom did the painting) 50 for paint and breakfast bar piece.
New Dishwasher/Stove/Fridge= 750 for all three
    Repainted (free)

1600 for the whole thing. If we had bought new counters it would have COST a fortune (about 900)
Floors my dad knew the guy (saved about 250) and extra counter we knew the guy so we got it free (saved about 80).
So we spent 1600 instead of $2830.

I wish i'd have gotten a darker floor color (all stains and dirt show (it's not white it's a light grey and tan) I like it alot but it's impossible to keep clean.

Bathroom- DH and my dad did the tile work, floor, cabinets toilet ect ect ect materials cost about 1000 and the we had bath fitter come do the tub and shower surround (2000) worth every penny though

We have hardwood floors that need to be sanded and refinished but that will cost about 3000 dollars and we'd have to empty the whole 1st floor and move out for afew days (DH isn't that good to do it himself).

He wants to laminate wood flooring (it's the same price as the prof redo in our area so we might go that route someday). Or it might just all get carpeted before we sell it (in 6-8 years).

Home improvments are fun but can be costly good luck and have fun with it!
