Going desk less...need ideas
I have decided that since we have a laptop I want to go desk less but I need ideas on where to store some items. We do not have a seperate room for an office and I considered turning a closet into an office but their is not plug ins in any of our closets. Since we live in an apartment we can't install plug ins so I am just going to go deskless. My only problem is where to place my printer. It is not wireless so I need to be able to plug it in, but I also need it somewhere my 9 month old can't use it for a toy. LOL! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I would love to get this project underway.

Its hard to keep stuff away from babies in an apartment. I got a three year old and a 4 1/2 month old in a two bedroom. I would say keep the printer on the kitchen counter or on a mounted shelf. On the top of a dresser maybe? Not sure what you have kinda hard to say.

Re: Going desk less...need ideas
We have gone desk less with a laptop since moving into our new place cause it had no room for an office. I put all of my office stuff in a hall closet. I had two of those plastic Rubbermaid file drawer things and put all of my office supplies in those...then just put the printer on top. There isn't a plug in our closet either but I solved that with a cheap indoor extension cord that I just use to plug into the wall just outside the closet door whenever I need to use the printer. Only takes a minute for the printer to warm up so it has worked fine for me. I keep a folding stool slid inside the closet too to sit at while I print things off.
HTH!
