Time for a quarterly contest!!
For this one, here is what I have in mind!

Spring is near and since tell me what your "Honey do list" looks like for you significant other!!

With the thaw, you probably have a ton of chores you are just itching to get done!!

The contest will run through March 16th . Sorry for such a long contest but I am going out of town next week and will be coming back on the 15th!

funny you should mention this, as I started my hubby on his list yesturday. Cleaned out the gutter, got rid of a wasper nest under the soffit, and cleaned out the attic.
Next we have to paint four bedrooms and re-arrange furniture and
Clean out the outbuilding. Soon it will be time to clean up the pool and plant spring flowers.

Oh, it's long, and it's more of a BOTH OF US list!! Drywall & painting, replacing windows, cleaning up leaves in the yard, privacy fence, construction on a topiary statue I want to build, trimming trees, installing surround-sound stereo speakers in the ceiling, re-painting kitchen cabinets, cleaning-out closets, cleaning-out the attic, cleaning-out the garage... It goes on forever!!

Wow!! We just talked about this over the past few days. Let me see:

His list:
(outside)
Fix the gutters in the back of the house
Paint the porch
Dig out the old fountain by the patio.
Clean out the vegetable garden beds.
Call to have fill-dirt delivered
Clear all the dead stuff from the trellis.
Find a cheap gazebo and put it on the patio
Take down storm doors & windows and put up screens.

My list:
(inside)
File EVERYTHING in the 3 boxes marked "to file"!!!!
Clean the walls in the bathroom
Paint the kitchen
Empty the closet in the spare room!!
Clean kitchen cabinets...inside and out!
Clean windows! (I hate this job!!)
Possibly: paint living room, re-tile bathroom floor, re-tile kitchen floor, put more shelves in pantry (a joint effort).

Lots to do!!! I hope I can get it all done!

***Edited to add...

I might have to empty the entire spare room....not just the closet!!! There's a very remote chance that my daughter and her SO might need that room. VERY remote...but I was a Girl Scout, so I'll be prepared!!!

Ooh great contest!

My honey do list is fairly short this year....we did a lot last year.

install a back splash in my kitchen (we just got the floor tiled)
plant a tree and finish landscaping in backyard
clean out the garage!!!!!

My list:

clean my sons closets and drawers
organize the spare bedroom where I do my couponing
try to start a veggie garden (we will see...I do not have a green thumb)
get ready for a garage sale

My honey is going to:

rake yard and prep the flower beds
wash the siding
replace kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and dish washer
replace flooring in kitchen, living room, and hallway
hopefully put a koi pond

Wow my list could go on and on but here is a starter list~ :)

Clean all beds and garden
till garden
install new patio area for grill
hang and fill all spring bird feeders
trim hedges
power wash/spray outside of house
install new indoor/outdoor carpet in breezeway
spread grass sed/fertilizer on entire yard
service lawn tractor, weed eater

well I guess I will stop there lol that will keep him busy for awhile!

dh has a large list this year since we want to sell!

scrap the parts of the house that is chipping and repaint it
paint white railings on front porch
power wash deck (i will restain it)
clean gutters (every year this is done)
clean his room (i put this on every list, one day it will get done)
patch hole in kitchen (found it when i pulled the wallpaper off lol)
sand and repaint kitchen cabinets and kitchen door (they are the same color)

would be nice to have done
powerwash wood fence
get some more white gravel for driveway and spread out
pull the rocks out of the grass and flower beds

i love spring and the "new" that comes with it!

My "honey" is DS17 and this spring we plan on moving so most of our efforts will be on the new house. Washing walls and floors, painting, packing, moving stuff, yard work. I want to start a veg garden.
