what's on your walls?

I recently asked if there were any artists here that were selling there work. Well I guess there are not any.

So tell me what's on your walls especially above your bed? I need IDEAS!

My walls have assorted pictures from Home Interiors over the years.. LOL.. and pics of my kids and grandkids. In the kitchen I have a painting my youngest DD did in high school.

Nothing over my bed.. never really have had anything there.. I would love to get a piece of picket fence though and paint flowers and butterflies on it to use as a headboard.

My bed is set under a window so just curtains there, but on one side is a metal wall planter - empty because it looks cool alone and the other has a wrought iron candle thingy. Across from the bed is three collage frames w/ pictures of the kids.

My bedroom walls actually have nothing on them currently pretty soon we will be painting. Not sure what kinda theme we will have going on. In germany i printed out pics of flowers a friend of mine took and gave me permission to use. framed them in 8x10's he takes lovely pics. Havent talked to him in a while though. I still got a few of them . Other then flowers and a old falling down house in black and white the only other pics on my walls is the only proffessional one ive got of my kids. But we are in the process of painting every wall in my house. but I like vibrant pictures.

I only have one picture in my bedroom and that is on my dresser. I have 2 large windows in my bedroom so I went as simple as possible in their to maximize the view. Im not a big picture person anyways. I change my mind so often on the rooms in my home that if I hung pictures everywhere, hubby would have tons of hoels to patch once a year or so when I change paint colors or move things around.

Over my bed, I have pictures from our wedding. I also have some pics of my twins as infants on another wall. I have a pair of candle sconces to create some romance...

Directly across from my bed, I have an artists painting of the manoa mountain ridge on Oahu, which I used to wake up to every morning and miss terribly. My DH protested when I hung it there, but I smile everytime I open my eyes (which he appreciates).
