I know I want one!!!

All I have heard on them was they start at about $1500, am pretty sure that they are all LCD Flat, I don't think they come with the 3d glasses, (could be wrong though) and the glasses run about $100 a piece. Oh yeah, I think you have to have the player as well, some type of blu ray. In the end, expensive, but a great investment

**:shrug7:All of this info is from an article I read a few months ago in Sound & Vision, so info could be updated and wrong by now:shrug7: This is just the basics I remember because I desperately want one

No need for one in my house. The guy from bestsbuy said the glasses come in packages of 2 for over $300 and the tv's are all plasma which dont last long and if you dont have all of the extras to go with it, its just not worth it. And the picture isnt that great if trying to watch just regular tv.

DH works in the audio/vision industry and says they are awesome. He works at a high end distributer where really price is not an obstacle. As fast as they get em in they sell em.
I have really bad motion sickness and 3D in general gives me the spins and makes me want to throw up. I told him no way!

Glad I am not the only one who gets sick from 3-D!

If the " men " were having the final say i guess, every household would have all the latest .. technology- every year.. it's something " more, better, faster, bigger, ..
but in the end, all it comes down to is- the same- You sitting and watching Tv.
For God's sake - it's a TV.

LCD- is the last i got- and it will stay that way until it " breaks " down on it's own.. and no " fiddling " and playing around from husband to make it " break " faster- doesn't count.

All this stuff is just " consumer spending- " - on not so much necessary things.
There are so much more to live than just to work for " things " ..

I'd say- appreciate the one you have and look for other things to spend your money on.. :)
