any help?
My husband and I just bought a 2 story house and I need curtains for every window. 90+ in length might I add. not the standard 84 in but something in the 90's.
Does anyone know of any where I can get very long inexpensive curtains?
I would make them but I can't even sew a straight line.
I don't even really care about the style. I just need solid burgundy, navy, or brown. no valence, no frills just the panels.
anyone seen a deal lately?

TIA
any help?
In my dd bedroom she has very wide windows. I used cheap table clothes & put curtain clip rings on the table cloth. Then hung them on the rods.
Also had a male friend that used fabric shower curtain on his large windows.
When it comes to large windows it is smart to think outside the curtain box.![]()
JC Penny has some extra length curtains like you need. They are often on sale for $15 a pair. Check their website and maybe you will find what you need.
I can't be done shopping....I still have coupons!!
I used the sheets from a bed-in-a bag to make extra curtains. Since they are already hemmed, all you would have to do is take out a few stiches (carefully) from the top wide hem, then you can slide your curtain rod thru.
Check the clearance section and see if you can find some top sheets.

I made alot of our window treatments for our farmhouse (with some help from my mother and sisters). However, I did buy some products from a company called Domestications.
The prices range for sheers to curtains/drapes from $7.99 to $59.99. Great prices and other home furnishings/linens, etc.
Also, check at secondhand/thrift stores for material, discontinued or donated items for resale, check with linen stores for their displays, and other stores for their displays. Sometimes the stores will knock off some money for changing their displays.
Web site is below--
Sheets, comforters, home furnishings and more from Domestications catalog (Domestication's site/info.)

Have you tried ebay? Sometimes I can score some great home items on there.
I just bought curtains for my teen son, he wanted "black out" curtains, Walmart's were 1/2 the price of Lowes and Home Depot. I do not know if they have long ones, but I know they are inexpensive and actually good quality.
Good luck!
