Default Cutting Roman Shades

I bought my son some roman shades to go on this windows. I got them because they looked nice and they were only $12 at Walmart months ago.

However, they are a little long and I don't know how to cut them to fit.
Has anyone ever had to do this? What did you do without the entire thing falling apart? This is the type of shade that has the little wicker slats (if that makes sense).

Default Re: Cutting Roman Shades

Lowe's and Home Depot can cut them. I have always taken mine there to get cut.
