HELP! The lady next door said a skunk just went under my house!!!!

So...I'm guessing he probably has a friend or two...Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

find somebody with a cat....ask them to save their USED cat litter (chunks and all)...the stinkier the better....spread it(with gloves on and perhaps a clothespin for your nose) under the bushes and areas you think the striped one is around...

Well...I left the access door open last night. Checked with a flashlight this morning...no sign of it.
I closed off the area where she says it got in & made sure there were no additional openings.
Unless it was still in there hiding somewhere...I HOPE not....it won't be getting back in.

better UNDER your house than in it.

We have a Have a Heart trap that's big enough for squirrels. I'm not sure if they make a bigger one for skunks, and even if they did, I'm not sure I'd ever want to get near it to release it.

I guess I have no advice. Hope it's gone though!!

Ewww - I think the smell would let you know immediately when the skunk had been trapped. No second guessing there!

We have several cats, a few skunks and a opossum that like to go under our deck. Mothballs spaced out around it stop them.
