Default Help With Window Treatment for French Doors

I redecorated my greatroom last year but my windows have had sets of cheap, temporary blinds until I can decide what I want. The problem is that I have a set of French doors right next to (within a foot) a set of double windows that go almost to the floor. So I need coordinating window treatments for both since I will have long expanse of window treatments. I don't care for the sheers for the French doors that I had before. I am looking for something that will allow me to see out but can be closed to block sunlight so we don't have glare/fading. This is the furniture that I have.

I have a Tiffany style table and floor lamp.

My walls and carpet are taupe. My baseboard is a medium wood tone. I also have a stone fireplace on the same wall with this fireplace screen.

The dining room furniture is antique medium oak. I like traditional with a contemporary feel. Any ideas for colors for accessories would also be appreciated. This room is beautiful and classy but very "brown". Thanks for any ideas.

This is right up my alley but need to get to work right now.
Here's what I did in our bird room where we have french doors. They make magnetic rods and I have one on each door so when you open the french doors, it doesn't bother the treatments. They come in the perfect size for french door windows. I got mine at Walmart but have seen them alot of places. They're not expensive either. I'll work on your decorating end of it tonight.

:frown:I totally forgot about writing the above and I need to apologize to you here, in public, for not doing as I said.
How are you doing on the room? Are you still working on it? If you are finished, can you post a after pic?
Again, I'm really sorry. I'm big on trying my best to keep my word.
