We are moving in a week and the carpet in the new house is brand new and a light color, so I need to find rolls of plastic to lay down so that nothing gets tracked in while we are moving boxes in. Does anyone know where I can find this? I don't have time to order it online.

Home Depot or Lowes have the heavy duty thick plastic on (I think) 50 or 100 foot rolls. Its useful to have around, so buying a big roll like that is not money wasted. If nothing else, take some heavy duty garbage bags and split them longways and tape down with the painters tape that removes easily.
Garden supply stores have rolls of plastic.
I can't be done shopping, I still have coupons left!!!
I second the Lowe's/Home Depot idea... just ask one of the employees, or if you can't find anyone, I'd suggest starting in the garden supply department. I you don't find it there, my next place to look would be over in the construction area, near the insulation and lumber. Plus, there's almost always someone over in those areas that could help you if you need it! Good luck, and HTH!
Oh, and congrats on the new house!!![]()

Check out my avatar-- my sweet tortie Annie is not fond of cameras, so this is an online look-a-like! Ain't she a cutie?
Thanks everyone. I was actually able to find it at walmart.
they sell sticky plastic that goes down(sticky side down) to protect your carpet.
