Complimentary From Mfgr.!

I know a lot of posts out there talk about the 'try it you'll like it' guarantees (and possibly abusing them?) and MIR's for free products, but you'd be surprised how many companies are generous enough to send out complimentary-product coupons! This is especially true with smaller natural and health-food companies. All you have to do is write to them with a compliment and politely request/ask about some manufacturer's coupons as a frequent buyer of their line. You will usually get a very friendly response from a very generous Customer Service Rep!

Here is my running list of the most generous, all of whom I got at least one free-product voucher, in addition to $1/cents-off coupons that have no expiration date!

*Barbara's Bakery (Puffins cereal, Nature's Choice bars, etc free up to 4.99)

*Ian's Natural- frozen foods (3 BOGO coupons, up to 4.99)

*Kashi (1 free Tasty Little Chewies bar)

*Hansen's Beverage Co. (Got 2 free product vouchers: Hansen's 64oz. Juice blend, and a free natural soda 6-pack)

*Alexia Foods-makers of gourmet frozen foods (Got 2 free vouchers up to 4.99)

*Dannon yogurt (1 free voucher for any 4 or 6 pack Light n' Fit yogurt or yogurt drink)

*Luna/Clif Bars (2 free Luna bar vouchers, any variety)

*Brown Cow Yogurts (2 Free vouchers for 32 oz. bottle lowfat yogurt drink, 1 free voucher yogurt/grains 5oz. cup)

I emailed Ocean Spray, since we've recently gotten hooked on cranberry juice (and it's not cheap!!). I got a reply the next day...just a "thanks for drinking our juice" kinda thing. No mention of a coupon...just a form letter. Today, I got a little recipe booklet with $1/1 coupon! Not free...but still a savings!

So I'm sitting here reading on HCW and my DH comes behind me and says,
" I have this coupon for $6.99 for Banquet do I have to buy something that is $6.99 or what happens if its more". Of course I asked him where he got it. He said, " I got it in the mail today". He bought a Banquet chicken dinner for $1.00 and he said it was a big puff ball with no meat, " I wrote to the company and told them that it was nothing but a puff ball not meat and was dissapointed, so they sent me two of these coupons".
OMG my addiction is rubbing off on my DH. I just had to laugh, cuz I would have never thought in a million years he would do that.
So anyway he received 2 coupons for up to $6.99 off on any Banquet

I went to Frito-Lay's site, to sign up for their Club, and I filled out the whole form, and hit 'enter', and suddenly, I was on a different web page, and there was no welcome, or email confirmation, or anything, when I finished. I wasn't sure if they had gotten my info. Most companies, ask you to wait 6-8 weeks, but I didn't want to wait that long only to find out that I hadn't been signed up all along. KWIM?
I looked for a contact email, and didn't find one. But...they did have a # for me to call, so I did. The lady there took my info, and said they'd have someone return my call. I reiterated my whole story again, to this person, and this person said that they were going to send me coupons out in the mail, for "all my trouble"!!! This person called me back 5 MINUTES after I called them! Talk about quick!
All I called for was to find out whether or not I was signed up. Isn't that cool?

I love contacting companies for coupons. One good reason is that the date of the coupons are dated better than the coupons that you get from the newspaper. The company that surprised me with coupons was Pepsie. I called them and they send me five 50 cents coupons. Now you know that pop companies don't send coupons, so that was a big surprise. Here is the number for pepsi 800-433--2652. Call them every 6 months.

I emailed Rudi's Organic Bakery to tell them how awesome their spelt tortillas are. They sent me 3 coupons for $0.75 off any product.

Yeah!
