I wrote an email to Goody hair products and told them how much my daughter loves their hair clips and such and they sent me a sample of the adult pony holders in a letter. . . . Due postage of $0.78 for envelope thickness.

I sent them an email thanking them for the sample, but told them that the samples require extra postage and just wanted to let them know.

I got a phone call asking me to pick out any product from their website and they would love to send it to me free of charge for their error.

Very nice people.

I contacted the parent company of Clear Eyes (I think it's MedTech?)--they sent me a Q for any Comet product and a Q for a free Clear Eyes. Only problem?? The Clear Eyes Q expired June of 2008. I just got the Q like a week ago! I sent them an email explaining what happened & they're sending me another one.

**Anyone out there who can use an expired Q that old?

I called the company that produces Tidy Cat and said "I'd like to try your product, could you send me a coupon?" and she said "Sure, I'll send you a coupon for a free product and a few more for savings on our products".

Received a FREE 40-82 load ALL Laundry Detergent coupon for complimenting their HE detergent and pricing (compared to Tide - ouch).

I'm not sure which ones are close to you. I know that Homer Glen and Shorewood had no set date as to how old they took them but I haven't been to those stores in a few months. One of the Buffalo Grove stores takes up to a year. The Arlington Heights store gave me no dates. I can't remember who posted it but somebody posted that the Oak Lawn store doesn't take expired coupons anymore.

You can always call the store first and ask. At least you would know for sure. It would be a shame for you to waste the coupon.

Have they been acting wacky at your store. I know they make me feel like a criminal at the Buffalo Grove store. I swear half the times I am in there they have to go up to the service desk to see if the coupon was ok. Did you see the post in the Dominicks forum from the moderator on their IP coupon policy? I had to laugh at the no more than 50% but some coupons may be approved. It would be like roullette to see if any you can use it and the way that Dominicks is I doubt they would say you can even if corporate gives an OK.

I got my first set of coupons today-

Kashi sent 2-$1 off any item and 2-.50 any item

Old Mother Hubbard (dog treats) sent 2-$1 off any item.

Nylabone said they were sending something, but we still haven't received it.
