Tips: Contacting Companies to Complain or Cheer!

I contacted Northern Lights b/c I bought a pair of their glow glasses and they didn't activate. Today, I received 2 pair of the glow glasses, 2 glow necklaces, and 2 glow sticks.

I also contacted B&BW to ask them why they stopped their promotion for "buy $30 in products, get a $10 GC" after 1 day of running it. They asked for my address so they could send me a "gesture of goodwill." Will update when the "gesture" arrives!

contacted gerber to ask for coupons/frees of their milk storage bags for milk donated to the local breast milk bank. Recieved email back promising coupons and "other items" coming in the mail.

I'll update when it comes.

General Mills sent a nice package of coupons for various products.
Dole sent a very nice package of recipes and coupons, mostly focused on the specific product I wrote to them about. Strangely, one coupon was expired.
ConAgra will send one coupon specific to the product line you contact them about (Hunts, Healthy Choice, etc...)

Rice-A-Roni/Pasta Roni.
An e-mail complementing them on their new Whole grains rices and requesting coupons. They wrote back and said thanks for the complement, no coupons...check your sunday paper.

Johnsonville Sausage.
An e mail complementing them on their Italian Sausage
(we use in our spaghetti sauce instead of Gr. Beef)

Rec'd 2 $1.00 off any and 1 $1.00 off the italian sausage. Oddly enuf, also was included two small slick fold ups with recipes that were suppose to contain additional coupons....the coupons had already been torn out??

I complimented Mama Mary's on their pancakes and they sent 4 FREEs (!) - 2 for pancakes, 2 for pizza crusts. Woot!
