Tips: Contacting Companies to Complain or Cheer!

So far I know of 2 companies that send actuals when you compliment them: Bay's english muffins (they send 2 packs) and Red Vines.

Am I missing any?

I just wanted to say thank you to all for the great ideas listed here. I have been very happy with my responses (free and money off offers). I contacted the 8 O'clock Coffee Company and explained that I am a coffee drinker (all day everyday!) and that I would love to try their brand. I asked if the had any samples or coupons they could send me so I could try their brand.

They sent me a free up to $6.99 coffee coupon!

I would never have thought to email and ask - just one more of the many money saving tips I've learned from the wonderful people on this site.

I complimented On Cor & they sent 2 coupons - each for a free package

- Complimented Ziploc: got 1 coupon for free up to $3.50 for Ziploc Containers
- Complimented/requested coupons from Birds Eye: got "one time postal mail" response of 6 coupons for .25 cents off frozen veggies

Oh wow, I forgot to come back and post on this!

All I did was report that a meal for 2 frozen dinner had only three little pieces of asparagus in it and that I expected more than that for $8.99. They mailed a Q for a free dinner a week later. Woo hoo!

I complimented Mccains fries but they told me no coupons avail. look in paper. I never see any in the paper. how does everyone get 5 Q's and I get none for complimenting *cry*

That was fast! The other day I already got a response from BarS. 5 .25/1 coupons and a $5 vip certificate.

No one else sent me anything but I did get an email back from arm and hammer. Doubt I will get coupons.

After my complaint to ziploc I got 3) free up to $3 any box. These exclude club packs and 25ct but that's ok with me. Great customer service, they came 2 days after I emailed!

I don't know if this was mentioned, but Classico sent me a free sauce coupon when I complimented them
