| Re: Contacting Companies to Complain or Cheer! On May 12, I received $5.00 worth in coupons from Kimberly Clark after sending them a question email with a compliment.
A few days ago, I had a complaint about some diapers I bought that had a defect. So I emailed them again....I know, I was afraid that I wasted the email and wouldn't get any coupons because it had been so recent since my last contact: WRONG!!!
Not only did they send me a letter, with a return POSTAGE PAID Label, but they sent me 2 $1.00 off / 1 coupons along with (drumroll, please........... a FREE diapers coupon with up to $24.00 value on a BIG BOX!!!!!
WHOO HOO!!!!! YAY, Kimberly Clark is my new FAVORITE company! I would buy their diapers even if they weren't any good now.

| Re: Contacting Companies to Complain or Cheer! I e-mailed the following companies to compliment them on their products. This is the first time I've tried this. I didn't ask for coupons, and I only complimented the products I actually have some enthusiasm for. Here's the responses that I got:
Blue Diamond Almonds: Just a thank-you e-mail, though it did say my remarks would be shared with "Marketing & Quality", so I may get something from them, but I haven't gotten anything yet.
Haagen-Dazs: Got 2 50¢/1 pint, quart or box of bars coupons. Not great, but I'm happy anyway, since you hardly ever see Haagen Dazs coupons.
Luna Bars: Got one FREE bar coupon and 2 50¢/1 coupons. The 50¢/1 coupons will be good to use for a 10 for $10 sale on the bars. Yay!
Schick Intuition Razor: Got a $2/1 razor or refill coupon. Not great, but not bad considering we haven't been getting the Schick insert coupons here recently.
Ziploc Bags: Got a FREE box coupon and a coupon booklet with a bunch of S.C. Johnson product coupons. Double Yay!! I LOVE Ziploc bags, so this was the one I was most hoping would pay off.
So 4 out of 5 places sent me coupons, indicating this is definitely worth doing. |

| Re: Contacting Companies to Complain or Cheer! Okay ladies I need help; I'm still new and just learned that I can contact companies ( for praise or if there is a problem); well I contacted DOVe because I love their Deo and it is the only brand I won't break out.. well I told them that and that I have been using it for years, but the new Go fresh line of deo makes me break out and I wasn't complaining just asking what ingredient there might be that is different then the original deo that I have no problem with, so I can keep an eye on the product lable, and told them that it wasn't a big deal I would just switch back to the old deo; I got an e-mail back that pretty much states that everone is differetn and therefore they can not tell me why I broke out and there dr. will take a look at it and wanted all sorts of information from me, of course they wanted the deo Lot#, date# where purchased, how much $$ store receipt my contact number for work, home and cell etc.. well I tossed the Deo since I broke out I wasn't going to use it and that was a week or so bef. I found out that I can write to the company; the receipt of course I hardly ever keep, so I didn't respond to the e-mail, thinking well that's it no big deal.. yesterday I got home and I had a letter from Dove in my letterbox and in it were a bunch of coupons all for free stuff had to be a totall of $30 maybe $40 worth of stuff, and return envolope for the deo and they want a Dr. note as to what happened etc to make sure the deo is not the problem;. well I never see the Dr. for something like this because if I break out and scratch it bloody ( which I do on some products) I stop using it toss it and use some cortisone and it willgo away in a few ays and then use a different brand.. So I don't have a Dr. note or the Deo, I feel guilty using the Coupons since I can not comply with their request, should I just send them back..?? How would you handle this, I don't want anything coming back at mye later etc.. HELP... I have no idea what to do? Maybe buy the Deo again and send it ?? |

If they sent a contact number/reference number, you can call them and let them know that you threw it out and no longer have the info. They can't expect everyone to hold on to things to which they are allergic.
