Tips: Contacting Companies to Complain or Cheer!

I got to many coupons to remember or list them all.

I know I got Missions, Seapak, Welchs, Johnsonville, Energizer, Olivio, Starkist, Birdeye, Amy's & Barber Foods. Maybe a few more I left off, but pretty good help. I was hoping to get lucky like the lady who did the Johnsonville with free Bratswurst and Tongs, but $1 off coupons. And Birdeye only cent me $0.25 cent coupons, but better than nothing.

Tyson sent me 2 .50 cent coupons and I Can't Believe It's not Butter sent me a Free when I told them I couldn't print the coupon off their site - my printer was having issues. Pantene also sent me a $2 off 1 coupon.

I sent an email to Edy's to complain about one of their flavors of the Loaded version. My kids didn't think they were "loaded" enough Anyway, they sent me a coupon for a free container of ice cream & two .50 off coupons!!!

I found this post last Thursday and emailed a few companies. To my surprise, I had 2 coupon letters in the mail on Saturday. One from SC Johnson and one from Del Monte. In the SC Johnson one, there was a coupon for a free Fanastik product and little booklet with several coupons in it. The one from Del Monte had several coupons for their fruit product.

Well today, I got 4 50 cent coupons from Heinz & 3 $1 off coupon from Oroweat. I'm really impressed so far!

Off to email more companies :)

Sometimes they won't say that they are sending something and they still do. About half of the companies that sent me these kinds of e-mails sent q-s via snail mail later. Don't give up hope!

Just reading some of the more recent posts on this thread has made me realize that I really need to do this more! I did it once when I was first starting out and got a free coupon from SeaPak. But then I got lazy and didn't keep it up. Shame on me! You guys have motivated to get going again! Thanks!

I sent two messages to SC Johnson, one was a compliment for their new Ziploc Zip n Steam bags. I bought a box for .25 (using Target & manf. q's). They thanked me for my comments & said they are sending out a coupon for a free box. I also sent them a complaint about a Drano product I used. I found that the store brand works much better! They apologized to me & said they are sending me a $7.29 refund. They didn't even ask how much I paid for it (I used q's & it was definitely less than $7.29!) I can't wait to get my mail!

I think SC Johnson has the best customer service. They send an e-mail immediately after your your comment and then in 2-3 days you get the mail with a free coupon or refund. They are very generous. Hope they will keep it up even after being flooded with complaints or compliments.
I had to e-mail them recently about the shower cleaner which is worthless. They sent me a refund check for 24.99! I really hated that thing and was bummed that I never got a rebate form but now I don't need it any more.

Thanks for this thread. I started cheering some companies whose products we use and love here in my family. So far I have gotten coupons from Olivio (2 for a free product and a few others), Dannon, Pictsweet (2 each for a free bag of veggies), Turkey Hill (they sent 10 coupons and a magnet), Lauras Lean Ground Beef and Birds Eye (3- .25 off). This is great, plus I feel good sending the positive feedback for products we like and use.
