I couldn't find the thread for this any more, and I know the info is helpful. I have a brand searchable page for most major manufacturers and products, also a separate one for organics. Not able to cut and paste, as it has all the contact links embedded, but this is what I have to offer:

What do you say when your asking for coupons? Do you use some sort of form letter or do you indiviualize each one? How do you go about asking for the coupon itself in addition to complimenting or complaing about thier product. What works better for getting coupons complimenting or complaining?

I contacted Creamette about a year ago about some bad spaghetti noodles I purchased. They all broke into 1/2" to 1" pcs when they were cooked! They explained how that may have happened, asked for the UPC code and said they would look into it. I received 5 coupons for free any Creamette pasta. I didn't pay for pasta in almost a year! I wasn't even trying for coupons. I never thought of complimenting. There are TONS of products I loyally purchase.

I never come right out and ask for coupons. I just tell them that I buy and enjoy their product(s).
