Contacting Companies Tips

Here is VivaciousJewelz's google doc spreadsheet of companies she has listed so far with links to the contact page Companies to Contact in 2011....please rep her and/or PM her with any new or omitted companies. Have Fun!!


Ok Here are a few tips for contacting companies:

~ Most companies want you to contact them every 6 to 1 year. There are some that it's every 3-4 months.
~ NEVER ask for coupons!!! You don't get good coupons if you do. Compliment their products you like. Say something like we have been long time customers of your products we especially love.........you fill in the blank.
~ Only contact a company for a complaint if you have the bag/box on hand. Most likely you will have to give UPC#, Lot #, Expiration Date, etc.
~ Sometimes it does not hurt to actually call the 1-800 number on the package/box to complain or compliment a product.

I'm trying to figure out a way to save the spreadsheet so I can edit it as I contact companies. It would be easier to save her fantastic pre-made one then me having to type all the company info in myself. Is there a way to do this? I tried Goggle Docs, since that is where she created it but I can't seem to figure how to save it for my personal use.

Go to your word pad on windows or what ever operating system you have and copy and paste it to there and you can edit it that way.
