I recently complimented clif bar on their bars and kids bars since my whole family loves them and they sent me a goodie box with 9 items! They sent me:
2 Luna tea cakes
2 Clif mojo bars
2 nectar fruit and nut bars
3 kids twisted fruit ropes

I followed the provided link, clicked the 'Contact Us' link at the very bottom of the page, then clicked the "General question or comment' link on the right side of the Contact Us landing page.

It gave me a feedback form that I gave them a compliment on and it also gave me the option to sign up for occasional free samples and coupons.

I received a response from Emily via the online form I submitted, thanking me for my glowing compliments and advising me that she was sending me some coupons.

I need to add this one to my list. I did contact Gloria's Harvest Olives and they sent me a free bag of assorted olives. They were awesome!

Also earlier in the year I got free samples from Margaret Holmes, Airheads and Vigo/Alessi. Contacting really pays off.
