DS just brings his DD-214. One time he asked for the discount and they told him that you have to have served in the military (he's 25 and has been out for 2 years)-he said I was in the military. LOL! Guess he looks too young!

I live in Georgia and we only get 10% off when its memorial day. Same with our Lowes, they both use to offer it all the time but quit doing it. We havent tried recently so they could have changed it.

Home Depot in North Salem, Oregon does. At first the lady said no and then she checked with the manager and he said yes. Lowes will match whatever Home Depot does, all they have to do is verify it. We found out that a holder of a AARP card can also get a 10% discount at Home Depot. Wish I would have known that last summer when I was redoing the house.

Both the Home Depot and Lowes in Watertown, NY (Fort Drum) offer a year round 10% discount.

Lowes is now giving 10% to ALL (active & retired) military ALL the time. This is a NEW offer in our district.

When I called HD to inquire if they were doing same, they said they are not but that I could mention next time at the register and a manager will decide if HD will honor or not...i'm betting they will...

The Home Depot in Salem Oregon no longer gives military discounts except on certain holidays like Veterans day. They did a couple of years ago but no more. Rats!

I am in FL and I have been to many in Pasco & Hillsborough county that offer it to me (I am the daughter of a retired Air Force) I know that Lowes has never done it for me so I go to HD always!! Any one hear from corp?
