Classes for kids

Not really sure where to post this, thought about freebies and the kids section.... HD has classes the first Saturday of the month for kids. They build an item and get an apron.

Forget the kids! LOL! I go to these all the time!! Every other Saturday, there's THE cutest carpenter who gives free classes at our Lowes! Not sure if I learn anything when I go..... since I forget half of what he says! :P

Uh...I guess he does not enforce the age limit...?? Wait, that might be at Lowes...have you checked out the carpenters at their kiddie classes? LOL

At my home depot in Orange County CA they have the kids work shops on the first and third day of the month, its plenty of fun for kiddies, they get a free apron.. its really cute, my son uses his apron at home to do his art projects.

Both Lowes and Home Depot host these. Home Depot is the 1st Sat of the month from 9-noon and Lowes does 2 other Sat during the month from 11-12. I take me 18 month old and 3 1/2 year old all the time.. They need some help but they love it. My older son asks every Sat morning if he can go play with the hammer!
