Thanks for looking at my spreadsheet!

I was inspired by my experience from a Financial Peace University class taught by Dave Ramsey. I decided to create (well, mostly my dh) a spreadsheet budget template so that I wouldn't spend a lot of time copying, adding, etc... on paper.


Needing some help in stretching those hard earned dollars? Well, I have just the tool for you. This spreadsheet budget template will walk you through setting up a budget so you can make that paycheck go even further. No more disappearing money!

Maybe you already do a paper budget but you're tired of writing it out every month and having to use the calculator to make sure everything adds up? Maybe you use a computer program that is too complicated and isn't very user friendly. :shrug7:Well, you no longer have to do this. With this spreadsheet budget template, it does all of this and so much more. Here are the highlights of this template;

• Tracks weekly income
• Fully customizable budget fields
  
• Able to pick which week a budgeted item is deducted from
• Items like Tithe, auto gas, food and Walmart are all setup to be budgeted weekly
• Keeps track of what bills are paid
• Totals up the amount currently spent on paid bills, weekly per check and monthly
  
• Includes a yearly totals page that keeps track of what the total income is, Totals budgeted items into several groups, and a customizable area that allows you to pick any individual item to total for the year
• NEW!!! I have included a new set of Pie Charts that visually show you how your money is being spent. One displays in %'s and the other displays in $'s
• NEW!!! Debt Reduction Planning Template. Enter all of your Debt into this sheet and it will tell you how long it take to pay off your debt. Set a goal to pay off your debts and see how much extra you will need to pay on it every month to make it.
• NEW!!! I have included a new function in this template that copies all of your previous month's bills and pastes them into the current month with just the press of a button. So no more typing in your bills each month.
  

I developed this spreadsheet after going through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. I was tired of writing out the budget each month and then having to make changes during the month when unexpected events came up.

This spreadsheet is very user friendly and includes all the instructions on each page. All of the hard work is done for you so all you have to do is put in your income and your budgeted items and let it do the rest. I designed this spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel(other formats are available upon request) so you will not need to learn any new software. Some people have said they have never used Excel. My reply? If you can click on a box and type in some numbers, you can use this spreadsheet.

All of the formulas on this spreadsheet are protected so you can’t mess it up. It also has error checking built in so that if some required dates or values are not input, then the sheet will display a large ERROR at the top of the page and show you where the problem is.
