H-E-B issues precautionary recall for bagged salad product

HOUSTON -- H-E-B Spinach Spring Mix Bagged Salad is being recalled as a precaution following possible contamination identified by Taylor Farms, H-E-B announced Wednesday.

The salad is produced by Taylor Farms and was sold at H-E-B stores across Texas. Customers are advised to check their refrigerators for the 5 oz. size of the product, as well as all deli items made using the product.
No reports of illnesses have been received, the store said.
"H-E-B is committed to the highest standards of food safety for our customers," said Winell Herron, Group Vice President of Public Affairs and Diversity. "We want to take every precaution necessary to ensure the integrity and quality of the products sold in our stores."

Customers can return the recalled products to any H-E-B or Central Market store for a full refund. Anyone who has concerns or questions can call H-E-B Customer Relations at 210-938-8357 or 1-800-432-3113.
