I got this coupon by email from HEB. I used it at the store on I-10 and Bunker Hill in Houston. The cashier looked at it and asked a manager (?) if he could accept it. That guy then looked at the coupon and said they were not allowed to accept internet coupons for "free" products. I stayed calm and explained to him that it was sent to me by email from HEB. He then went over to customer service area and when he came back he said it was okay since he confirmed that it was sent out by HEB. I guess stores are just so afraid of getting burned with fake q's that they are on the defensive. It would be nice if we didn't have to go through these types of headaches when trying to use certain coupons but its just the price you pay for getting a good deal I guess.

What cracks me up is it's offered on their website. The dumb leading the dumb! You would think this would be something they would know about.

Exactly Nicole.... it's the stores own coupon.... they should know what coupons they have out.

Trying to use this coupon at the Mission Bend location was a total nightmare. First the checker tells me they don't take any printables. I told him it was from heb.com and that is where I printed it from. For goodness sakes it's a HEB COUPON! He goes and gets his manager who says we don't take any printable coupons. Then I tell him the same story that it's from HEB.com and he calls his manager who after she could pull herself away from a phone call says if it scans I will take it. UGH You have printable coupons on your website so why don't you take them????

Contact the regional/district manager - let them fix the problem - because that is crazy.... if they don't take printables then they shouldnt offer them on their website for you to print and use at their own store.
