Why does nobody ever post HEB deals?

I went to HEB this weekend to try to familiarize myself with the store - determined to find some good deals - after 40 minutes of shopping - I only bought two boxes of swiffer refill pads.... that's it -

don't know whether to laugh or cry ... that's sad!

Regarding the tearpad, peelie and hangtag situation, I agree that I hardly find anything good at HEB. Yes, I do find them, but alot of the time, I find tearpads put out like a week before they expire, or peelies after they expire. It's weird because I know product goes fast at HEB, faster than Randalls, so I don't know why they would have peelies that expired a couple months ago or why they would wait til the last minute to put out tearpads for products. Maybe it's just my stores on Braker or Mopac.

Has anyone seen the new ad yet? I am no longer shopping at Kroger so I was wondering if there is a blog that matches the HEB ad. I know they may not have super great deals but I have to work with what I have.

I am with you no d/t at Kroger is killing me! Sadly, I don't know how much relief you will find at HEB. Their prices are less than Kroger, and lately I have been finding on a huge hunk of stuff they are cheaper than Wal-Mart. I still am not over paying $1.25 for one green bell pepper at Wal-Mart last week. It's going to be hit and miss at HEB. If you like their store brand products then you are in luck because most of their sales ad will consist of store brand products. Name brand products typically are accompanied by the Yellow (in-store) manufacture coupons. The problem with those is if they have an "M" located at the bottom of them that indicates that it's a manufacture coupon and of course the store won't allow you to stack them. It's rare that you can find a yellow in-store coupon that doesn't have an "M" on it so you can stack.
